RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Understand QMS in-network and out-of-network providers
- Verify patients eligibility based on patient information in office management system
- Utilize online verification programs, as well as call insurance company if necessary
- Determine which insurance company we have the most patients we’re unable to service and establish new in-network relationship with said provider
- Contact patient for updated insurance information
- Electronically send unable to assist letter to patient
- Add notes in office management system with detailed explanation of benefit coverage
